Authority Keeps Bengalising Rohingyas, Maung Daw

     In Leik Ya (Kuinr Hali) village tract, Taung Pyo (sub Tsp) of Maung Daw north, authority keeps forcibly Bengalizing the Rohingya community.

     On Dec 28^th 2012, Jafarul Islam s/o Abu Bakr, the village admin of Leik Ya village tract was called out by NaSaKa commander of sector (5) and was forced to register(sign) by himself as Bengali. However, as he denied to do, he was kept sitting till 8:00PM.

In a consequence, he and other seven Rohingya elders; 1) Dil Md s/o Qadir Husin(47Yr), 2) Sayedul Haque s/o Abdu Shukkur(45Yr), 3) Ruhul Amin s/o Nur Mohamed(40Yr), 4) Abul Hashim s/o Bagu Meya(35Yr) 5) Rashid s/o Abul Khair(65Yr), 6) Bando s/o Yakob(50Yr), 7) Sattar s/o Qasim(50Yr) were summoned to the commander office on 29^th Dec 2012 where they were severely tortured to accept registration process.
