Police Extorted From Two Rohingyas, Maung Daw

           Two Rohingyas were arrested over the accusation of having link with foreign countries and were released after being fined 350,000Ks.

           “On 11^th of Nov 2012, two Rohingyas from Maung Daw town ship, Amir Ahmed s/o Nur Mohamed from Fanir Sora village of Tha Man Tharr village tract and Abdul Hye from Hla Ya Done village of Thit Dona Kwarsone village tract were arrested by a Police Lieutenant called Chit Tun over the false accusation of having link with foreign countries. Finally they were released after being fined 100,000Ks and 250,000Ks” said a close relative of a victim.
