Maung Daw, Arakan- Around 1AM on 26th September 2013, a gang of Hlun Hteins (Security Force) high on drugs (intoxication) forcibly sodomised four Rohingya minor boys on sentry duty at Maung Ni village, Maung Daw.
"It
was about 12:00 midnight on 25th September 2013 that a
gang of Hlun Hteins (Security Force) from the camp based in the
village of Maung Ni of Myoma Kayintan (Shiddafara) village tract
turned up at a sentry post in Maung Ni village. They were high on
drugs. Then, they forced four Rohingya boys on sentry duty to look
for prostitutes.
The
boys were unable to carry it out. Thus, the Hlun Hteins severely beat
them. Then, some of the Security Force pointed their guns against the
four boys. Meanwhile, some others forcibly sodomised the boys. All of
the boys are minors" exclaimed a Rohingya elder.
They
are:
1)

2)
I**** Son of E** (12-year-old boy) (Real Name withheld)
3)
MR Son of F**** (14-year-old boy) (Real Name withheld)
4)
ME Son of NH (13-year-old boy) (Real Name withheld)
Rapes,
Gang-Rapes and Forcible Sodomies are synonymous with Myanmar Military
and Security Force. Many such tragedies go unreported very often.
Likewise, they carry out similar sorts of savageries against other
ethnic minorities such as Kachin, Karen, Shan, Chin etc in other
parts of Myanmar. Yet, it is very unfortunate for the humanity that
they (Myanmar Military and Security Force) commit them with 100%
impunity.
"Besides,
the same Hlun Hteins appeared at the sentry post again around 10PM on
26th September 2013 night. Then, they brutally beat the
people on sentry duty for no reason. The people who got beaten by the
security force are:
1)
Ba Tin Son of U Shomshu (Age 19)
2)
Fayas Son of U Habi (Age 27)
3)
Hussain Son of U Noor Hussain (Age 15) (his head got bleeding due to
the tortures)" the above-metioned Rohingya added.
